IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPROVAL

By approving, I acknowledge the following:

I understand that participation in the Coast Guard Competition involves potential physical risks, including but not limited to slipping, falling, water-related incidents, fatigue, muscle strain, collisions, serious injury, or death.

I confirm that I am in good physical and mental health, that I am over 18 years of age, that I am able to swim when required, that I do not suffer from any medical condition that would prevent safe participation, that I have not previously undergone any major surgical procedure, and that I have not been advised by any medical professional to refrain from physical activities.

I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for my health, safety, and physical condition before, during, and after the activity.

I voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks associated with participation.

I agree to release and hold harmless the event organizers, owners, sponsors, partners, employees, volunteers, and all related parties from any liability, claims, or demands arising from my participation, including injury, drowning, health damage, or property loss, to the extent permitted by law.

I agree to comply with all safety rules and instructions related to the activity and understand that failure to comply may result in disqualification.

I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to this participation waiver and liability release.
